I began by sketching preliminary ideas with by pencil as I do with most projects to help get an idea across. I brought these sketches into adobe illustrator and made vector files in CMYK to make printing more cost effective. I was given the text for each page, and the name of the book. I produced 10 illustrations, front and back cover along with posters and bookmarks for the author. I managed to produce this book while a full-time employee, and even had back surgery in this same timeframe. I completed the book and it was approved by the publisher without any major revisions needed.
